Panama City Beach Fishing is Hot!!!
The temperature is not the only thing getting hot on Panama City Beach. As the gulf water temperature has risen in recent weeks there has been a very good move of fish into the area. Bait is always the driving factor in where the fish move and with an abundance of both natural and artificial habitat available in our area this looks to be an excellent season for fishing. We inshore trolling on our 4 hour charters fishing for a variety of pelagic such as Spanish Mackerel, King Mackerel, Mahi Mahi, Sharks, Sailfish and many other species that may show up to take our trolled baits. Trolling covers a lot of area and where the fish start to feed the strikes can be explosive. Our 6hr and longer trips are primarily bottom fishing trips. We travel to natural and artificial reefs in search of the wide variety of reef fish we have in the area. The Snapper family which includes the ever popular Red Snapper is one of the favorites. Vermillion or Beeliners as we call them in this area are one of the sweetest tasting snapper and a highly sought after fish in both the recreational fisheries and commercial sector. Triggerfish,Lane Snapper Black Snapper, White Snapper, the list goes on and on. There are few places that have the variety of fish we have here on Panama City Beach and they are here waiting for you!
